Our founder spent a decade training in Japanese martial arts — jujitsu and swordsmanship — earning rank under two separate grandmasters, one in the Catskills and one in Japan. She holds a Japanese training passport, which means her relationship with Japan isn't a vacation memory. It's a standing commitment to mastery.
